Google Docs Editing Coming to iPad and Android

With the announcement that Google will require a two-step verification process to increase security across Google Apps accounts, Google this morning announced that it will feature Google Docs editing capabilities on the iPad and Android. Soon, users will be able to collaborate and co-edit documents and files from a range of devices.
At this moment, third-party apps such as QuickOffice allow you to edit your Google Docs files. This works really well, especially on the iPad. However, for many users nothing beats an app made by the creator, in this case Google Docs. Now, more people can use the iPad and Android smartphone to make crucial document edits rather than sitting idly in front of a computer/
These moves indicate that Google is working towards gaining more market share in the cloud services forum, currently occupied by organizations like like SugarCRM, Salesforce.com, Box.net and SharePoint online.
